We went to stay with some friends (Darren & Denise) at their cabin in the mountains this weekend. The cabin was built entirely by Darren's mother and father about 10 years ago with lumber and materials from an old farmhouse they owned. It was very relaxing and I loved the view from the balcony. (In case you are wondering, we do take the children on trips but this weekend they both had to work and already had plans with friends). : ) Here are some pictures from our trip. Love to all!

Oh how blessed you are to have such wonderful friends to allow you to enjoy such a tranquil and serene spot. Great pictures! The model was really pretty and that guy looked pretty rugged too ;) Yep not going to say he was pretty ;)

Hi Patti and Lee - nice post. I think I could use a few relaxing days like that - looks like a very nice cabin in a beautiful spot. We will be in Atlanta next week.
